Nature of the service
Navistro provides strategic perspective, interpretation and general informational guidance regarding situations described by clients. It is a sounding board and strategic-perspective service, not a licensed professional practice.
Navistro is operated as a division of Gen-X Strategies. Navistro is the public-facing service and brand through which these consultations are offered.
Professional boundaries
Navistro is not a law firm, therapy practice, medical provider, financial advisory firm or other licensed professional practice. Navistro does not provide legal, medical, mental-health or financial advice. Questions about law, filings, court procedure, diagnosis, treatment, financial products or other regulated professional matters should be directed to the appropriately licensed professional.
No professional-client privilege
Communications with Navistro are not represented as attorney-client privileged, therapist-patient privileged or otherwise legally privileged. Clients should provide only information reasonably necessary for the service.
Perspective, not certainty
Human behavior and future outcomes cannot be predicted with certainty. Any discussion of what another person may be thinking, how that person may interpret something, or how a situation may develop is perspective based on the information provided — not a factual representation, professional opinion or guarantee.
Client responsibility
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and for deciding when to consult an attorney, therapist, physician, financial professional or other licensed advisor. Navistro may suggest that a question belongs with another professional and may decline to address matters outside the service's appropriate scope.
Emergency matters
Navistro is not an emergency, crisis or safety service. If a situation involves immediate danger, urgent medical needs or another emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or licensed professional resource.
Payment, scheduling, rescheduling & cancellations
Consultation fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. A selected consultation time is not confirmed until the applicable payment process has been successfully completed. A submitted intake by itself does not create a paid engagement or guarantee an appointment.
Navistro reserves consultation time specifically for each client and, where applicable, may review intake information, submitted materials and other relevant information in advance of the scheduled consultation.
Appointments may be rescheduled through the scheduling system up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time without additional charge. Please do not use the self-service rescheduling link within 24 hours of an appointment. If a change is needed within 24 hours, contact Navistro; a late reschedule may be permitted at Navistro's discretion when circumstances warrant.
Missed appointments and client cancellations do not entitle the client to a refund or credit. Consultation fees apply to the time reserved. A consultation that begins late because of the client's delayed arrival will ordinarily end at the originally scheduled time.
If Navistro needs to move a consultation, we will work with the client to arrange another available time. If Navistro cancels the consultation or engagement outright and will not provide an alternative consultation, the applicable consultation fee will be refunded in full.
Website and informational content
Articles, guides, FAQs and other website materials are general informational content. They are not individualized advice and may not fit the facts of a particular situation.
Privacy
Information handling, retention and deletion practices are described separately in the Navistro Privacy Policy.
